Skill Inventory
You get to know exactly what marketable skills you have and if they meet the demand of market. It also gives you the direction of where you should improve and what you need to learn for meeting the demand.
Self-Assessment
Employer would want to know what your “color” is. Just to make sure you fit the culture of the business and the team. It confused a lot of people when you were asked “what your co-workers think about you?” Who knows.
In order to get the job, you still have to answer it correctly when you have been asked.
There are free resource on the Internet could give you a quick and easy assessment of your personal characteristics by answering a serious of questions then you get a personal profile with words to describe your style.
Not a big deal. You can do it.

It is going to get worse if you spend a few days pock around one spot and then changed the whole game to a completely different direction. You will end up having nothing left in your hand because you just give it up too early too soon.

The game of networking is about giving the information and giving back the favor.

Who is on your team?
If you want to be overachieving job hunter then hire a coach to assist yon on building your job hunting muscles.
Don’t you know the job searching is a team sport? Of course, you can do it alone, but without knowing all the bits and bytes, what would you think you are on the right track or beating your head again a dead end.
Ask for help, as early as possible so you can find the next job sooner rather than later.
